Do you have any openings?

All open job positions can be found on our website under the Job Seekers tab on the home page.

May I send in my résumé, even if there are not any open positions at this time?

Absolutely! Having your résumé in our database is definitely an advantage for you. We generally go through it prior to posting an ad. However, you should first read our blog post “How To Optimise Your Résumé” located on this website to be sure you are getting the most out of your résumé.

How do I apply?

It’s easy! Just email your résumé to [email protected] and include the reference number of the job you wish to apply for.

How long does it take for an application to be processed?

Time frames for processing applications can vary. However, we usually review all applications for a vacancy within a week of its closing. If your application matches the vacancy profile, our recruiters will send it on to our hiring department for further review. If our hiring department expresses an interest in your application, you will be contacted within a few weeks.

Arrangements for an initial interview will be made with you via email or by telephone. Typically, a final interview is also conducted prior to putting you forward to our client for a position.

How long does it take for a decision to be made regarding an advertised vacancy?

It depends on several factors such as the field of candidates applying and the particular attributes the client is seeking. Typically, times may range anywhere from 1 week (for high demand positions) to a matter of months for specialist roles.

Does First Personnel consider candidates outside of Australia?

First Personnel seeks local applicants first. However, this is not to say that we rule out all international candidates. Some positions (especially specialist roles) may require that we look outside of Australia in order to find the best possible match. If you fall into this category, you will need to provide us with your visa details as well as your permit to work within Australia.

Please note: We MUST require compliance with Australian certification standards where applicable.
